Professional Mentorship Program (Sydney)

Professional Mentorship Program (Sydney)

We are offering a new program for church music leaders over one year, involving small group and individual mentoring covering the following areas:

  • Song Writing
  • Song Leading
  • Team Leadership

The aim of this program is to give those leading music ministry (in a professional paid or lay capacity) the opportunity to receive group and individual mentoring, observation and critique of their ministry. We want you to grow in awareness and skill, and in how the Bible can speak into your particular ministry context. We also want to give you the opportunity to speak with others in similar roles about the practical, theological and spiritual issues you are facing.

With three group sessions across the year (on a Friday during term time), you’ll also be personally mentored in your chosen area of songwriting, song leading and team leadership for further input.

Mentors will include Philip Percival, Alanna Glover and Liv Chapman, but we'd be happy to discuss options of other mentors within the Emu ministry.

If you're interested for 2022, the first step is to get in touch with Philip Percival, giving some brief details about yourself and your context.
