Content Producer

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and versatile individual who is passionate about creative content and has the expertise to craft memorable and engaging visual content across a range of media platforms, with an emphasis on short-form content. If you have an understanding and appreciation for the digital and social landscape, along with a love of Christian music, this job is for you.

Your role will be to curate high-quality, on-brand video content for digital channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. The ideal candidate will be an organised and self-sufficient person who loves to develop captivating and engaging videos.

We are looking for a candidate who can transition between different products, adapt to various tones of voice and online environments, and create impactful content based on their knowledge and understanding of trends, features, and formats across these channels.

We will consider applicants for both full and part-time roles, and there is also an opportunity to combine this role with part-time study within Moore College’s Advanced Diploma of Bible, Ministry & Mission.

What you'll do

A successful applicant will:

  • Capture, edit, create, and curate high-quality content in various formats such as videos, infographics, images, photography, graphic design and social media posts
  • Generate ideas for engaging and relevant content based on target audience and business objectives
  • Assist in media production, including shooting, scripting, editing and post-production tasks
  • Plan and execute content distribution strategies across various channels, including websites, blogs, social media, email marketing, and third-party platforms
  • Optimise content for search and algorithms to improve visibility and organic reach
  • Engage in analytics and performance tracking
  • Develop a functional content calendar and post scheduling
  • Stay updated on emerging content trends, digital marketing techniques, and industry developments
  • Experiment with new formats and channels to enhance content effectiveness

Who you are

A successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in creative content service
  • Experience in use of content creation software, as well as in-app creation tools on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, etc.
  • A clear understanding of best practice for content on each platform and for different audiences
  • Proficiency in graphic design and editing software including Canva, Photoshop, FinalCut or Premiere
  • Skills in photography and lighting operation
  • An eye for detail and great design / photography skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • An enthusiasm to stay educated and up to date with trends and innovation in the social media ecosystem
  • An ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • An ability to set goals and prioritise work tasks
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • An ability to work effectively in a team environment
and independently 

Special Conditions

A successful applicant will be:

  • A mature Christian with active involvement in a Christian church
  • Willing to work some out-of-hours work (essential)
  • Flexible with working arrangements around conferences and events, etc.
  • Able to work in Australia
